A Bit About Me
Dr Swayam Prakash hails from Balasore, a small town in the coastal belt of Odisha. He did his PhD from IIT Madras, Chennai. The photophysical aspect of faecal pigments was explored to develop new analytical methods for water quality testing. He completed his master's and bachelor's degree from NIT Rourkela and Fakir Mohan University. His first post-doctoral research at IIT Bombay, Mumbai was in the area of metal-enhanced fluorescence. Currently he is working at BAM, Germany towards the development of optical sensor device for analytical and sensing applications.
